Note from Executive Director Why FNVW Matters
As a species, humans have the knowledge and resources to solve the problems we face. What we need is the ability to communicate and cooperate with each other. We need to learn how to be in real, authentic, equitable relationships with one another. We need to develop skills for resolving our conflicts nonviolently so we can break cycles of violence. We need to courageously come together to change exploitative and extractive systems designed to hoard wealth and power in the hands of a few.
Too often people who are oppressed and people working for social justice unproductively fight with one another. Powerholders masterfully pit us against each other to break movements and derail our momentum for change. That is why the world needs organizations like FNVW. FNVW teaches skills for engaging and transforming our conflicts so we can stick together even when things are hard. And FNVW provides opportunities to use nonviolence as a tool for creating the systemic changes we need. We may be small, but from little things big things grow. Please help us expand the reach of our life changing programs by making an end of year gift to FNVW. Every dollar donated gets us closer to raising the $9,000 we need to balance our 2022 budget. Thank you for supporting FNVW's work.
